FlexRides works differently from a fixed-price taxi app. You see a fair price for your trip, offer what you think is right, and choose from the drivers who answer.
How a ride works
From opening the app to getting out of the car.

Choose where you're goingYour pickup is your current location. Type a destination, or tap home, work or a recent place.

See the recommended fareWe work out a fair price from the distance and the time the trip should take. Taxes and fees are included in the price you see.

Name your fareKeep the recommended fare, or lower or raise it within a set range. A higher offer usually gets a quicker answer.

Get offers from nearby driversDrivers can accept your fare or offer their own price. Each offer shows the driver's name, rating, car and how soon they can arrive.

Choose your driverAccept the offer that suits you. With auto-accept on, the first nearby driver who takes your fare is matched straight away.

Ride and pay in the appFollow the car on the map, share your trip, and pay by card when the trip ends. Add a tip afterwards if you like.
Good to know
Two ride types
Standard seats up to 4 people. XL seats up to 6, for groups and luggage.
Card only, no cash
Add a card in the app before your first ride. The fare is held when a driver is matched and charged when the trip ends.
Tips go to your driver
Tipping is optional, and every cent of a tip goes to the driver.
Cancelling
You can cancel free of charge for a short time after a driver is matched, or if your driver is running late. After that a cancellation fee may apply; the app tells you before you confirm.
Where we operate
Pickups anywhere in Fredericton. You can also be dropped off in Oromocto.

Questions about a fare, a lost item or something that happened? Open the trip in the app and choose "Get help with this trip".
